Southbank Software is overjoyed to announce the arrival of dbKoda 0.6 - the first public release of dbKoda!

dbKoda is a modern open source database development tool — the first release supports MongoDB databases.

The core of dbKoda is it’s rich MongoDB code editor which supports syntax highlighting, code completion, generation, formatting and more.

dbKoda

dbKoda also supports graphic interfaces to MongoDB administration and query commands and allows you to manage multiple MongoDB servers from a single desktop

dbKoda

dbKoda is built completely in Javascript with React, mobx and NodeJS, offering a fresh and contemporary look and feel on every platform.

dbKoda

dbKoda is built by a group of faceless geeks in Melbourne, Australia. We work out of an office in Queen St in the heart of Melbourne. You can find out more about the team on the dbKoda website.

dbKoda

dbKoda is open source (AGPL 3.0) and free in every way. You can download installers for Mac, Linux or Windows or download and build from source.

You can also view our source code on GitHub or view a short introductory video on Youtube.

We hope you’ll try out dbKoda and let us know what you think! You can contact us via our support channel, via email or on twitter.
